Maplebee Farm

Our honey harvest didn't go exactly as planned. We left a few empty spots in the hives, (I'm sure we had a really good reason for it at the time) so the bees decided to build their own honeycombs. This is straight honey in natural wax. I was hoping to try to get the bees to do this at some point so this was a happy accident.

Picking peas amongst the sunflowers. Yes, I'm in there. It's finally turning into a food forest.

It was all hands on deck today. The alpacas were sheared. This is Austin's blanket, the part around his middle. It doesn't include his neck or hips. He's a shadow of his former self.
