Reading Rescue came highly recommended from friends, so when our daughter was struggling, we reached out. Before meeting Julia, our daughter did not want to even try anymore. She was so frustrated. We didn't know how to help.

Julia worked wonders with her and from the first class, our daughter was motivated and it grew her confidence immensely. This helped all of us! In fact, she loved it so much that she chose to continue throughout the summer and this school year she has already beed rated above grade level!

My grade 8 boy was functionally illiterate. I knew that high school would be a frustrating and fruitless experience.
I was concerned he would quit education before grade 10.
We needed a substantial improvement.

Reading Rescue Ontario provided one on one tutoring, delivered by supportive and caring staff.
The simple at home study became part of our daily routine.
Two years later, I have no concern about my son's literacy or his success in education.

As a parent, I cannot praise Reading Rescue enough. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and always managed to keep my busy son on task.
The progress my son has made in his reading abilities has been a remarkable turnaround. He went from being self conscious and reading well below grade level, to achieving grade level marks and his confidence and abilities have soared.
A special thank you to Valerie and Lori who worked with Jack. They are truly gifted and a blessing to those struggling to read.
