Over the past few days, we explored what it takes to move cancer immunotherapy innovations from discovery to clinical delivery.
The Preclinical Development Workshop guided academic investigators through the pathway to a Clinical Trial Application (CTA)—from Target Product Profiles to preclinical safety and efficacy, CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls), regulatory fundamentals, and clinical trial planning.
BioCanRx is pleased to offer this training to help bridge discovery and clinical readiness through expertise sharing and practical development roadmaps—resulting in clearer direction, de-risked programs, and a stronger path toward first-in-human trials.

Au cours des derniers jours, nous avons examiné les étapes nécessaires pour faire passer les innovations en immunothérapie du cancer de la découverte à la clinique.

BioCanRx est heureux d’offrir cette formation pour faciliter le passage vers la phase clinique grâce au partage d’expertise et à des feuilles de route pratiques, permettant une orientation plus claire, des programmes à moindre risque et un accès aux premiers essais chez l’humain.

À l'occasion du Mois des survivants du cancer, nous rendons hommage à nos patients partenaires et à leurs nombreuses contributions en tant que participants à des essais cliniques, défenseurs des droits des patients, partenaires de recherche et bien plus encore.
L'immunothérapie contre le cancer transforme les soins, contribuant à améliorer à la fois la survie et la qualité de vie des patients atteints de cancer. Chez BioCanRx, nous nous efforçons de garantir que tous les Canadiens qui ont besoin d'immunothérapies contre le cancer puissent y avoir accès, en faisant le lien entre la découverte et la mise sur le marché afin que les innovations parviennent plus rapidement aux patients.

Most importantly, we recognize that none of this progress would be possible without our patient partners. We applaud the courageous individuals who have participated in early-phase clinical trials, partnered with researchers, and shared their insights—even while facing their own experiences—to make cancer treatment better for everyone.

Travel and Lab Exchange awards support trainees and lab professionals with travel and accommodation funding to attend research exchanges, conferences, and workshops that build technical skills and advance professional growth.
The next deadline to apply is June 4 for conferences between July 1 and September 30 and for lab exchanges between July 1 and October 31.
