I can’t believe its been a decade since I worked as a photographer at . This was one of the biggest challenges of my life as I had just left a comfy government job, and negotiated w a quarterly fashion/celebrity magazine to take me on as intern. The promised to pay me £10/day for the tube, and connect me with photographic experiences but I had to find my own way overseas. I travelled over the Atlantic and was sleeping on a friend floor for 7 weeks. I worked 12 hours each day for LFW, and sometimes ran from floor to floor to capture simultaneous shows. By the end of the week I got a bad flu, I was broke, tired and needed to recoup. I decided to come home and apply for photo-school. The magazine never did pay me, so I was out all the costs. The positive is that though I only got to shoot one season, I am very proud to have these images in my arsenal and it was a memorable experience to be amongst such talented legends.
