So a funny thing happened. This beautiful lady announced that she was retiring as of December 31, 2022. We thought she was joking but had the party anyways thinking that she would be back. Well, here we are March and we have all come to realize....she is not coming back. Happy retirement Kathy....we all MISS you so much and the office is simply not the same without you. Enjoy every moment and know your desk sits empty and is available anytime you want to come back.

What a day/week we have had....very busy and it ends with the following email received from a Customer just now:

It’s nice to get compliments instead of complaints as feedback sometimes…

We are very happy with the service you provide us and are very thankful for all that you do for us. Andy and Matt- we couldn’t be as successful as we are without your help and your team’s help!

Luc the driver has been excellent! He is professional, polite and we couldn’t more pleased with his work.

With utter disbelief and profound sadness, we regrettably announce our Swift family lost an irreplaceable part of our lives on Sunday morning with the sudden passing of Jennifer Van Dusen, loving wife of Swift founding partner, Dave. Jennifer, you will forever be an inspiration, a guiding light and a friend to all of us. Your zest for and love of life, your family and your friends was and forever, will be a cherished memory we hold near and dear to our hearts. To know Jennifer was to love her. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts. Rest easy Jenn….until we meet again.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a dear colleague, Dean Hay. Dean was an accomplished pianist and television Producer in his hay days and upon retirement, he took a keen shine on becoming a courier driver with Swift. Since 2012, Dean looked after our many customers with his old fashioned Radio Announcer voice, a kind word and a huge smile. He also LOVED so much playing the role of Santa Clause at our Family Christmas parties. We will always remember a few years back as Santa Clause (Dean) was trying to leave the banquet room and a little girl was hanging off him screaming…..I LOVE YOU SANTA. Well Dean….we love you Santa….rest in peace and if there is something when we are gone….we hope to see you are on a cruise ship somewhere in the Pacific, with people all around with you playing the keys of that Steinway and belting out a song that we can all sing along to.

God speed Dean.

What a celebration today for one of our own. A VERY special Lady celebrating a milestone birthday...sorry....no numbers. :)

As the convoy is due to start trickling into Ottawa within the hour, please expect delays. We are not guaranteeing delivery times as the city progressively gets filled with trucks and smaller vehicles for the protest.
