Over the last two years, Team Perley Health has raised over $150,000 for the Bridging Generations Campaign through Ottawa Race Weekend! We are so grateful for the generosity and commitment of all of our team members, and the friends, family and community members that supported them.

Last week, members of Team Perley Health came together for the official unveiling of the new space, which will soon welcome children, Seniors and Veterans in a new Intergenerational Early Learning Centre. We recognized their incredible support on the trunk of our beautiful donor wall, hand-painted by artists from our Therapeutic Recreation and Creative Arts team.

Thank you, Team Perley Health, for helping to make this possible!

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, we celebrate the incredible fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures who call Perley Health their home.

It us our privilege to serve so many extraordinary men, including the brave Veterans who have dedicated their lives to our country.

Our commitment every day is to ensure that everyone feels safe, heard, and respected.
As a community of care, we work to empower them to reach their full potential and live their best possible life at any stage of the aging process.

Together, we improve the well-being of the people we serve.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada and is an opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, who have lived on this land since time immemorial and whose presence continues to shape Canada today. It is also a time for reflection: to acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonization and consider how each of us can contribute to meaningful reconciliation.

This Sunday, June 21, is National Indigenous Peoples Day. Communities across Canada will honour Indigenous cultures through festivals, ceremonies, cultural performances, and community gatherings. This day is an important moment to celebrate the strength, knowledge, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

Perley Health’s Commitment

Perley Health recognizes National Indigenous History Month as a time to honour the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We acknowledge that our campus is located on the unceded, traditional territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe People, who have cared for this land since time immemorial.

At Perley Health, we reaffirm our commitment to building relationships rooted in respect, humility, and ongoing learning as we work toward a more inclusive and equitable future – one that reflects and celebrates the communities we serve. We honour and recognize our residents, staff, and volunteers who identify with Indigenous heritage, and we continue to focus on the progress we can make together.
