June 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) a milestone that invites us to reflect on how far we've come and where we need to go next.

This year's theme, "Be Bold, Age With Attitude," celebrates the people and communities challenging ageism, advancing rights, and redefining what it means to grow older in Canada and around the world.

Join us for a dynamic panel discussion featuring leaders, advocates, and changemakers working locally, nationally, and internationally to improve the lives of older adults through elder abuse prevention, social inclusion, innovative programs, and systems change.

Framed around "Then, Now, and Next," the conversation will:
