Vegas Travel Guide: Part 1 - Where to Stay

For my 50th trip to Las Vegas, I wanted to do something different: a full travel guide based on everything I’ve learned from visiting this city over and over again.

And for Part 1, I have to start with where to stay.

I’ve stayed at every major 5-star hotel in Vegas: the iconic ones, the trendy ones, the ultra-luxury ones, the old classics and the new openings - The Bellagio, The Venetian, Aria, Cosmo, Mandarin Oriental, Wynn, Encore, JW Marriott, to name a few.

But after this trip, I can honestly say Conrad at Resorts World is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in Las Vegas. A special mention to my Conrad Guest Experience Specialist .in.vegas

The 8760 acre property is stunning: modern, polished, spacious, and beautifully designed - truly awe inspiring. It gives you that elevated Vegas energy, but with a level of calm and comfort that makes it feel like a true luxury escape. Resorts World is the second tallest hotel in Vegas and holds the distinction of being the most expensive resort in Las Vegas at a cool cost of $4.3 billion.

My suite was epic - massive windows, incredible Strip views, a gorgeous spa-level bathroom, tons of space, and that perfect mix of sleek design and comfort - one of the cleanest most refined I’ve ever experienced. It felt refined, private, and exactly what you want from a Vegas luxury stay. I imagine many visitors cancel some of their plans to spend more time in their suite - I’m speaking from experience, RIP to our show tickets.

The amenities were just as impressive - the pool district alone is worth the stay. Resorts World has five pools, each with its own vibe, so whether you want to relax, party, tan, swim, or just disappear into vacation mode, there’s a perfect spot for it. My favourite is the infinity pool which directly overlooked the Enhanced Games venue.

And the gym? WOW! Easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used in Vegas. Huge, clean, bright, fully equipped, and actually built for a proper workout, with all the latest tech - which is extremely rare for a hotel gym.

Some moments you don’t plan - you just show up, dress up, and let the day do its thing.

Birthdays are a reminder not just of age, but more importantly of evolution. Every year brings its share of lessons, laughter, and sometimes deep loss. But with each one, I grow stronger, clearer in purpose, and more connected to what really matters.

A huge and special thanks to my beautiful French girl Gen (my tiny Bebe 😝) who’s walked beside me, inspired me, helped me through the toughest times, and ALWAYS supported me - thank you… and your surprise weekend was simply epic! I wouldn’t be who I am today without your presence, and unconditional love.

Here’s to continuing to rise, to strive, to love, and to live with intention.
