Yep!! ❤️😊
Some Christians seem totally convinced the Holy Spirit needs a little supervision.
So they become far more concerned with what God should change in others than with what He may be trying to change in them.
But we do not transform people.
God does.
Our calling is not to pressure people into performing our version of Christianity.
Our calling is to love them,
point them toward Jesus,
and trust the Holy Spirit to do work that belongs to Him alone.
Yes, God transforms lives.
But transformation into the image of Christ is not the same thing as transformation into someone you personally approve of.
And if someone follows Jesus, seeks God, and the Holy Spirit does not transform them into your version of a Christian, perhaps the problem is not their resistance to God.
Perhaps it is your assumption that you get to sit in God’s seat.
When Christianity is at its worst, it becomes remarkably confident at identifying what God must change in everyone else while remaining strangely uninterested in His instructions to us:
Love God.
Love your neighbor.
Show mercy.
Welcome the outsider.
Forgive freely.
Serve humbly.
Remove the plank from your own eye.
That list should keep us occupied for a while.
The Holy Spirit does not need us to become spiritual compliance officers.
He calls us to bear His fruit...
and surprisingly, “obsessing over someone else’s sin” did not make the list.
Love people well.
Point them to Jesus.
Trust God with the transformation.
And remember:
While God may be working on them...
He may also be using them to reveal what still needs transforming in us.

Another great post share from Marcus Stanley. The pic is mine:
‘’Dear God, thank You for Your faithfulness and for being so good to me. Your word in 1 John 1:6 says, “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” God, I’m coming to You today asking that You remove everything that’s pulling my attention away from where it belongs. Open my eyes so I can see those distractions clearly, and give me the strength not just to identify them but to actually let them go. Whether it’s a career, a relationship, or anything else, I won’t place it above You. Holy Spirit, transform me by the renewing of my mind and help me refuse to bow down to anything that tries to take Your place in my heart. I’m choosing today to chase after You with everything that I have. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. -Matthew 6:24’’
Amen!!
