Even before Taylor offered his services, general contractor Rod Pantalone stepped up to the plate. Pantalone is willing to offer his skills and labour as a general contractor — free of charge — to help build or renovate a home for Lavoie. He said he has many contacts in the Ottawa construction community and is already making calls to see who’s interested in helping.
