Ironworkers Local 765

Any members with an interest in attending a recovery meeting, a brother from Local 765 who is familiar with the process will be attending a meeting at 971 Woodroffe Ave on Monday, June 22 at 7pm.

This meeting is anonymous and has no affiliation with Local 765. Anyone is welcome to attend, but if you wish for support from a brother in the trade, look for someone with an IW765 shirt in the back parking lot between 6:30 & 7pm.

THERE IS A SOLUTION - RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE!

Local 765 will be playing in the baseball tournament in support of the Members Assistance Program this weekend. Games are today at 5:10pm and tomorrow morning at 8:00am at Carlington Park in Nepean, more games to follow depending on the outcome. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, they’d appreciate the support!

Eleven new Journeyman coming up! These guys finish trade school today, and write their Red Seal exam tomorrow morning. Congratulations to all for this accomplishment.

Following our local competiton on Saturday, representing Local 765 this year at the Ontario District Council Competition will be:

1st Place Structural - Jacob MacLaurin
2nd Place Structural - Kyle Pomainville

1st Place Reinforcing - Francis Giroux
2nd Place Reinforcing - Anthony Larabie

Congratulations to all apprentices who showed up - it was a great day, fun and competitive. Always nice to see the apprentices helping each other out even as they compete for those top spots.

Apprentice competitions tomorrow - Reinforcing and Structural! Come on out, catch up with old friends, and cheer for the next generation giving it their best!

Competiton takes place from 8am to mid afternoon, best time to come spectate is from about 10am on.

Very proud of our apprentices for helping this ceremony to run smoothly.

Ironworkers Local 765, the 2026 Molson Canadian Cup Champions!

Slightly rocky start Friday evening, but today the lads pulled off two big wins!
Catch them tomorrow morning at 9am in the semifinals at the Bell Sensplex.

The next Local 765 Retiree’s Breakfast is April 28, 2026 at Rockin Johnnys in Kanata - 486 Hazeldean Rd.
