Consider joining the Innis Point Bird Observatory! The IPBO is a 43-year-old non-profit organization located on the Ottawa River near Shirley’s Bay. IPBO carries out bird research that involves monitoring bird populations in migration and during the breeding season. Consider becoming a member! Your annual fee of $30 (individuals) or $60 (family) allows you to observe our bird banding sessions on site in springtime and helps support bird conservation in Canada.
