My first time using Grease Pencil and working in 2.5D .official

This is my rendition of what he city of Mumbai Encapsulates. A large corporate machine where there is a clear divide between the haves an the have nots. You see it in the everyday struggle of the people, their resiliance and the absurdities that go with it. If you don’t cry you gotta laugh.

This is also a background iteration for a side scroller game I’m working on.

The process of learning new platforms can drive you crazy, but also puts you out of your comfort zone, pushing you forward.

A quick object study of the books living on my nightstand. Just some practicing of perspective, keeping to my routine, and letting the brain wander a little.

I guess you can find a little magic hiding in corners if you stare long enough. Oh and there’s a process video, with all my mistakes and process, ya know.

A study in colour symbolism that I did for a class tutorial. I really enjoyed it

First time using clip studio, made this art piece for a really cool project I’m working on. Rejected work …. So posting it here.

A concept I explored for my concept art class. Norse / Lovecraft / post-apocalypse was the brief.
I made cocoon houses, gas masks, and a cosmic fetus with ancient knowledge.
The the results were … interesting

So grateful (and quite proud) to have been part of this climate-change mural at Algonquin College!
We painted a whole story about taking small steps to “be the change,” and my section was all about composting and giving back to the earth. If you pass by PLEASE scan the QR codes and check out the maze activity (it’s the one with the apples) in augmented reality or take a quiz or two at the other panels.

Working with other artists, choosing colours on the fly, and painting with cameras pointed at us… no pressure, no undo button, just chaotic magic.
