đŁ Itâs official! Wishtree has a new website that finally showcases both the stationery AND the brand side!
Big thank you to .co for bringing our vision to life and pushing us to finally make it a reality. It is a true labor of love, sharing so many of our incredible clients and their work.
Weâve also undergone a name change ârefinementâ. Weâll now be Wishtree Design Inc, encompassing all of our talents and services under one umbrella.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ||
With 420 today, we felt it was the perfect time to introduce Flower Farma! Based out of Washington and created by Julie Houser of (a plant-based chef for celebrities), Jules has come up with a delectable way to introduce cannabis into every day cooking. (Stay tuned for more on that!)
We designed the Flower Farma brand to be simple, modern and creative; much like Julesâ style in the kitchen! Youâll notice that the icon is a clear cannabis leaf (for quick recognition) which drips into a serving bowl. Illustrating the process in which her oils are created; farm to table. The âoâ in Flower is a degree symbol to further nod to cooking in the kitchen.
The colours stem from the cannabis leaf with the âliquid goldâ in the drop representing her incredible products.
Jules and the team are a joy to work with. Her energy is high and her talent is vast. Hereâs hoping we can get her products in Canada soon! đ€đ»

Howâs your cannabis journey? Weâre relatively new to the cannabis world, trying out edibles and tinctures; learning the benefits, different strains and effects of each.
DID YOU KNOW?
CBD and THC come from the same cannabis plant. But both have distinct properties that separate them from one another. THC is associated with the high feeling or psychoactive effects, and CBD is more well known for its health benefits.
When we were asked to brand and design Kush Kitchenâs newest line of tinctures (thanks to ), we ran with it! A slew of delicious flavours in both CBD and THC options, we knew we needed to help differentiate between the two.

ice cream truck in all its glory! đŠ
This truck wrap has become an iconic piece of Stittsville. Attracting people from all over to take photos infront of the truck and enjoy their crafty ice cream cones. [so good! đ]
We developed several concepts playing off the traditional vintage style ice cream trucks but soon realized this truck deserved more. Something unique and fun. Cue big pink polka dots and a running pattern of ice cream illustrations to compliment their logo. Key pieces included their social media contacts and hashtag.
Incredibly proud of this truck and looking forward the next stage. đ€«

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT |
What do you get when you mix a pizza shop with an ice cream truck? Jo-Joâs Creameria! We worked together on narrowing down their name (play off the OG âJo-Joâs Pizzeriaâ) and desaturated their brand colours (red and black) to give us a beautiful pink and soft grey.
From there, we got to work on their truck. Pulling their brand throughout so itâs easy to recognize and associate. You may have seen it around town - itâs hard to miss! Weâll be sharing this next!

Whether youâre just starting your business or youâve been around for years, the best thing you can do for yourself and for your clients is to BE PRESENT.
Show up on your social media. (Post, stories or a Live) Show up in your emails. (Donât leave your clients hanging) Show up on those zoom calls. (Join the convo instead of just listening) By staying present (even in this new normal of having to staying home) you are staying front and centre for everyone to see and remember.

Yesterdayâs IG LIVE with was a little snippet on how to find your ideal client, build your brand voice and create your own flat lay from home.
If you missed it, below are a few tips & tricks when trying to create a flat lay.
1) BACKGROUND. Keep it neutral so your object(s) are the focus. Texture through cloths, blankets, carpet, countertops, flooring, whatever you can find. Work with it!
2) LAYER. Itâs ok and encouraged to overlap items! Whether itâs placing a textured napkin on top of the countertop background or some jewelry draped over top of a velvet box. Layering adds dimension and interest.
3) STORY. Paint a story. What are your shooting? What can you incorporate with it to tell the story? Showcasing a new lipstick? Perhaps you have some make up brushes, and/or a purse peaking through, or a pair of heels to describe a night out.
There are several other key points when shooting, so weâre putting together a full flat lay course to teach you all the tricks to shooting your work in the best way possible.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ||
I remember hiding behind a curtain at a party with Carla as she secretly told me about the plan to branch from . We were both giddy with the possibilities and planned to chat once things calmed down a bit. Cue months later (wedding season was a whirlwind) and we finally made it happen. A tasty coffee chat at and we had the vision!
Wishtree set to work creating multiple logo concepts with which Carla knew almost immediately which was the winner. (This girl knows what she wants!)
