No amount of fitness trainers, bougie gyms, meal plans, or grit was helping me show up...and I was getting burnt out trying...until I found my "pull" way.

Now showing up feels effortless again and I'm finally seeing results.

The big question is, where in your life are you still pushing?

06/23/2026

To each their own, but I got honest with myself and realized alcohol wasn’t serving me.

The hard part was that it had been so deeply built into my lifestyle that even when I stopped drinking, I still didn’t feel fully comfortable with the idea of being someone who didn’t drink.

It still felt like I was giving something up.

That completely shifted when I stopped making it only about the behaviour and started building it into my self-image.

There are common patterns I see in 6 figure and early 7 figure founders that keep them stuck.

And trying another strategy is not going to fix the issue if you are still operating from the same hidden beliefs.

Beliefs like:

“I can’t afford to hire anyone yet.”

“I’m the only one who can do this right.”

“I can figure this out on my own.”

Those beliefs might feel responsible, practical, or even necessary.

But they are also the reason your business keeps depending on you.

And they are drastically stunting your growth.

In seasons like this, a little borrowed confidence goes a long way.

Because when you are making the uncertain decisions required to scale, hiring the right people, investing in yourself, investing in your business, raising your own standards, and holding yourself at a higher value, you need to be surrounded by people who can see what you cannot see yet.

That is why rooms like BILD Pro matter.

Because scaling a business that fuels your life by design is not just about having another strategy.

It is about becoming the kind of founder who can actually execute it.

Everything begins with your self-image. You cannot consistently outgrow the identity you are still operating from.

06/22/2026

A strong vision becomes the filter for every decision you make.

When you feel aimless, reactive, or like you’re constantly putting out fires, it’s usually because there isn’t a clear vision guiding your choices.

Set the vision.

Then make decisions that move you in that direction.

That doesn’t mean the vision can’t evolve. It probably will.

But without one, you’re leaving your direction up to chance, and chance rarely takes you where you actually want to go.

If you’re tired of feeling anxious all the time, start paying attention to where your focus is going.

Because your mind will naturally look for what could go wrong.

But you can train it to look for what is working, what is safe, what is possible, and what you actually want to feel.

06/21/2026

That is a losing battle.

And I cannot make someone open to the work before they are ready.

Now when I welcome a client in, I still commit fully.

But I no longer collapse when someone chooses to hold onto the hidden beliefs and patterns keeping them stuck.

Because transformation requires participation.

I can create the conditions.

They have to choose to step into them.

Where have you had to overcompensate in order to feel safe, seen, valued, or enough?

And how is that same pattern showing up in the way you lead, sell, create, parent, love, or build your business?

In Episode 6 of the BILD What Matters podcast, Victoria Cluney sits down with to deep dive into high performance behaviour, overcompensation, and the hidden patterns that drive how we show up in life and business.

After almost two decades of studying behaviour and predicting the success of elite performers in the military, one thing has become very clear to me.

Most of what drives us is not conscious.

Your conscious mind has the idea.

Your subconscious responds with the feeling.

And then you create a story to justify the feeling.

This is why so many founders say they want the next level, but keep avoiding the very action that would get them there.

It’s not always a strategy issue.

Sometimes there is a hidden belief, fear, or pattern running underneath the surface.

And the humbling part is that no matter how much work you’ve done, you will always have blind spots.

I have them too.

The goal is to become aware enough to catch them before they keep making decisions for you.

Understanding bias can become a superpower when you learn how to work with it instead of fighting against it.

I’ve learned not to force respect.

I’ve learned not to walk into rooms trying to prove myself before I’ve even had the opportunity to show what I’m capable of.

There is a quiet self-trust that comes from knowing who you are, knowing what you bring, and allowing people to arrive at that conclusion through how you show up.

Respect doesn’t need to be forced.

When done right, it will be earned naturally.
