“I FELT LIKE SHARDS OF GLASS WERE GOING THROUGH MY SYSTEM”

At the Allison Inquiry, Shannon Holmes described the terrifying onset of severe symptoms following her second Pfizer vaccination.

In this excerpt, Shannon recalls feeling as though “shards of glass” were going through her system and says she became unable to eat. After friends called an ambulance, she was taken to hospital, where she described feeling as though her skin was being electrocuted, being stabbed, experiencing severe back pain, and feeling as though she was being choked.

Shannon’s testimony captured the intensity of the pain she says she continues to live with today—and the dramatic change from the active life she once lived.

Courage is Contagious.

“A MASS ABROGATION OF CRITICAL THINKING”

Patricia Leidl, former Director of Communications with the World Health Organization, testified at the Allison Inquiry about the profound social divisions she witnessed during the Covid-19 era.

She had just completed a 26-kilometre hike and was very fit. She says she was skeptical of the COVID narrative but needed vaccination to take a job in Europe. The first Pfizer dose was uneventful, and about a week after the second she says she collapsed getting out of bed, with a racing heart, swelling, nerve pain, a migraine and hearing loss in her right ear.

She says emergency doctors diagnosed POTS, told her she had long COVID although she had not had COVID, and at one point suggested a mental health episode.

In this excerpt, Patricia reflects on how people she had known for decades suddenly began defining and dismissing others based on their views—particularly those who spoke openly about vaccine injury. She describes the experience as deeply isolating and speaks about the way fear came to influence how people understood reality.

She also reflects on the toll this division took on families, relationships, and even her own faith.

Her testimony offers a deeply personal perspective on the social consequences of the past five years—and the importance of restoring critical thinking, dialogue, and the ability to disagree without dehumanizing one another.

THE ALLISON INQUIRY: FOUR DAYS OF TESTIMONY — AND THEN "HEALTH CANADA" SILENCE

In a new report for Rebel News, Tamara Ugolini examines what happened during—and after—the four days of testimony at the Allison Inquiry in Ottawa.

Over four days, Canadians came forward to describe devastating injuries, permanent disabilities, and the loss of loved ones following Covid-19 vaccination. Former athletes, a veteran, parents, and families shared deeply personal experiences under oath.

Yet throughout the hearings, neither Health Canada nor Health Minister Marjorie Michel appeared before the Inquiry or offered an apology to the Canadians injured by Covid-19 vaccines who came forward to testify.

Instead, one week later, PHAC issued a progress update focused on its compensation program, including more than 2,000 outstanding claims and appeals.

“That was a lie by concealment. It was a lie by omission.”

Veteran CBC and CTV journalist Rodney Palmer delivered a powerful account at the Allison Inquiry, challenging the public information Canadians were receiving about Covid-19 vaccines and the information available to Health Canada at the time.
