This fence in Glabar Park was finished with Benjamin Moore Woodluxe Solid Stain — a water-based solid stain that gives the wood a rich, even colour without turning it into paint.

Solid stain is a great option when you want a clean, uniform look instead of a heavy wood-grain finish. It still penetrates into the wood, helps protect against the elements, and leaves behind a strong, durable finish built to last.

This one was a full reset.

Our clients had an old stain system that just wasn’t holding up anymore — constant peeling, uneven wear, and over time it started turning dark and almost black in spots. The wood had completely lost that clean, rich finish it deserved.

So we brought it all the way back.

We sanded the deck and pergola down properly, removed the failing coating, prepped the wood the right way, and finished it with two coats of WoodSource’s Cutek stain — easily one of the best stains in the game.

The difference is unreal.

At the end of the carousel, you’ll see the before photos, plus a side-by-side showing the raw sanded wood beside the finished two-coat stain system. That’s where you really see the work behind the result.
