I’m so excited to share that gargoyle breeding has FINALLY begun! I brought home my first gargoyle gecko two years ago now, and fell in love with these intensely beautiful geckos. A year after that I brought home 3 more in the span of 2 weeks. I currently have 3 females (tika, tamari and taki) and 1 male (taco). For the next 3 weeks, taco will join each female in their own breeding enclosures for 1 week and then return to his full time enclosure. The females will spend the next ~12 months in these tubs where I can monitor egg laying. During this time I’ll be adding more bioactive elements to their full time enclosures so they can enjoy an improved setup when they finish laying eggs. The girls need about 5 more grams on them each to reach breeding weight so I’m estimating another month before pairing. Can’t wait to see what they produce!
