It’s been awhile. We are still out here in the Okanagan. But we are also counting the days till we get to head back home. To our own privacy. Our mostly quiet property. Nicer weather.
This winter had been a hard one. Being without sunshine for too long, messes with your head.
Next winter, we are back to Mexico!!!
How has your winter been?
It’s the season…..
Christmas Parade 2025.
Our second one here in Osoyoos. It was a beautiful night. They have the shops all open to browse. Then after the parade, there is a bonfire, hotdogs and hot chocolate on the beach. Plus fireworks after (which we totally forgot about). We went home and remembered the next morning 🤦🏻♀️.
Wishing everyone near and far a wonderful holiday season. Cheers to all that makes you happy in the New Year 🥂 🎉

Did you know the first KOA was in Billings Montana?!
We didn’t know this until we arrived. We came in off the interstate, over a bridge and down a country road. The entrance looked like you were entering a ranch. Or a beautiful park.
The grounds were amazing. A nice big mini putt, Kids play area, sensory cabin, and I think there was a pool but closed when we were there.
Would totally recommend.

Sometimes you have to leave the interstate to get to your destination. Which I’m kinda 50/50 on which I prefer. Sure the interstate is big, usually nice roads, lots of rest stops and fuel stops. But it’s also a lot busier. More traffic. Sometimes, not so nice drivers.
Now the state highways are quieter, less traffic, sometimes a little rough, no shoulder, no rest stops and few and far between fuel stations.
This was on our way through Wyoming, on the way to Devils Tower. We had no choice but to leave the interstate. Which means this farmers field entrance, was the only place for a potty break. Made for a great view amongst the cows 🤣. We even had a fellow RVer stop to make sure we were ok. Now how nice is that ☺️.
Are you interstate or state highway travellers?

Bismarck North Dakota. This was our first stop after crossing the border. Had to stock up on groceries for the week. Which of course meant a trip to Sam’s Club. Which I must add, they are so ahead of us. No need to get your receipt checked. Just walk thru the scanner and off you go.
We stayed at a Journey KOA. Never disappointed. Because we got a late start, we arrived at 8 pm. Which is totally against our travel rules (no night driving and not arriving in the dark). Glad it was a pretty easy to navigate park.
