As many of you know Edith was diagnosed with Colon Cancer not long after we moved to this location. She had a big surgery that gave her a fighting chance and with her husband and supportive staff she has offered a fun sewing environment that has opened creative doors for many. Spring has not brought news we would have liked from the doctors and Edith has continued to fight with radiation and is in a lot of pain. There are lots of appointments and she is spending a lot of time at the hospital. We've come to the painful point of deciding to close the store. March 31 will be our last day of operating. No more machine repairs will be accepted from this point forward. All fabrics, and notions are now 50% off. No special orders will be accepted. All Remaining machines are priced to go!

March has come in like a Lamb and I for one and thrilled! A lot of our dear people have travelled south to escape the remainder of winter and so we are using the time to do some housekeeping at the store. Our Customer Card count has really grown and in the next week we are giving Card-holders the chance to cash in their credits. How the card normally works is that we jot down the pretax purchase amount and after six visits we add up the qualifying amounts and you get a credit towards your next purchase. For the next week we are going to give you the credit even if you have two purchases or four purchases...whatever. You will have until March 10 to use your credits. After that date the program is being discontinued. Just think, you have the next 10 days to spend a little fun money, I'll bet you didn't even know you had it, on what ever you'd like in the store! This can even go towards a machine!
