The UOIT Robotics Team is ready to start up again for the 2018-19 year. If you'd like to sign up please fill out the form. Please note that we are only accepting members for the Electrical and Mechanical divisions right now. All other division signups will open in September. We will be competing in the University Rover Challenge again this year.

Along with general members, we are looking for a new Electrical Division Executive as well as Junior Executives for both Electrical and Mechanical. The junior executives must be first or second year students and will help the Division executive with leading the division.

Reminder for anyone interested in joining the robotics team. The assignments for ear division are due tomorrow, Friday the 22nd at 11:59 pm.

Hi,

For anyone who missed our first meeting, we introduced our executive team, went over the major tasks of the University Rover Challenge, and finally mentioned that we will be having a small assignment for each divison to determine everyone's skill level. We will start having meetings for each division on the week of the 25th.

All the assignments are DUE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 22 11:59pm all the assignments have their own submission rules. All the files for each assignment are attached to this email. You only have the complete the assignments for the sections you are interested in.

Design Team Assignment:
Create a 3D puzzle. Email your files to [email protected] .

Electrical Team Assignment:
Create a schematic with listed parts and answer rule based questions. Email your completed file to [email protected] with the subject " Electrical team assignment"

Programming Team Assignment:
Create a program in C++ that can read and create matrices. Email completed assignment to [email protected].

Science Team Assignment:
Answer basic science questions based on topics used in the University Rover Challenge. Submit the completed assignment to [email protected] .

Media/ Marketing Team
We do not have a assignment for these teams. Please send us an email if you are interested in being on the media/ Marketing team.
