Here we wired up a few new pieces of machinery in a metal shop. The customer had moved locations and had 3 phase equipment fed by a single phase source. With some specialized equipment, a repurposed transformer and a special inspection from the ESA, we came up with a solution to get them up and running in no time!

Last week we upgraded this 100A panel to 200A which included a complete overhead service replacement.

Toronto Hydro requested that the meter be moved, as well as the installation of a service mast to raise the line coming across the street. It was a hot day, but we got the job done 💪🏻

Another week, another EV Charger ⚡️

“But what if I’m unsure my panel can handle an EV Charger?”

It’s true - EV Chargers take a lot of power! The best option is to connect to a 200A panel for the simplest and most convenient charging. However, whether it be budget or practicality, some ask us if they can use an EV Charger on a 100A panel.

That’s what happened today, and we were able to make it work using an EV Management System. This device monitors the power your house is using, and if it gets too close to the limit it will shut down the EV charger until the power usage comes back down again.
