Representatives from organizations including Nursing Home Without Walls, Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Urban/Rural Rides - Transport Urbain/Rural, Mobile Smiles by Ashley Hayes, Oromocto & Surrounding Area Food Bank, Jessie's Foot Care, Karen Lake, Caregiving Consultant and Care Navigator, Meaningful Connections Adult Day Centre and many more will be available to answer your questions.

Come to our Housewarming celebration this Friday, March 13th, starting at 10:00 a.m. with music, food, guided tours and the official ribbon cutting for Oromocto's community nursing home - Maple Ridge. Located at 67 Sebani Street.

This week, Nursing Home Without Walls (NHWW) Oromocto program is gathering community input to help shape activities, social events, and supports for adults 60+ in our community.

Connection matters all year. Make a plan to keep in touch—weekly calls, monthly visits, shared activities.

Celebrations look different for everyone. Make room for all traditions, all stories, all people.

Lead with empathy. Older adults may hesitate to ask for help. Your approach—gentle, non-judgmental, and respectful—can make the difference.

Neighbors, businesses, faith groups, caregivers—we all play a role in helping older adults stay connected. Your kindness matters.
