Dayna is 16 and has just started trick riding this past winter. She fell in love with trick riding while watching the Graham Sisters perform at the Stony Plain rodeo in 2004. While her history with trick riding may be short, her history with horses is not. Her parents had her on the back of a horse befor she could even walk, and often when she was little she could be found sleeping on the back of whichever horse would cooperate. When she was 8 she competed in her first rodeo and hasn't stopped since. She has also been a member of North Country Junior Rodeo Association, Alberta Provincial Gymkhana Association, Busby and Haylakes Gymkhana, and Barrhead light horse 4-H club.
