Hey Insta-Friends… well it’s been a minute.
Life has been consumed by working my ass off, and also switching off. I think it’s been a perfect balance, and I hope to carry this momentum through the summer.

I had to jump on this trend because it is so fun/funny, and because we only look slightly different to this 🤣 I thought why not introduce us as well..

We’re married, we have 3 kids, we make stuff — and yes, we still like each other (most days).
We’re the duo behind Nova Collection, known for our cribbage boards and a growing lineup of handcrafted wood goods.

Kirsten’s fueled by wine and wild ideas, Shane runs on beer and sawdust — and together we somehow manage to turn wood into things people actually want to keep forever.

One of the very first things we ever made—signs—has been part of our journey from the beginning. They were the second product we ever created, and they helped shape the look and feel of what we do. But as we grow, we’re making space for new ideas and shifting our focus.

We’ve decided it’s time to move on from making signs. It’s bittersweet, but it feels right.

You’ll still be able to find the last of our signs at upcoming markets, and we’ll continue to share our designs on our Nova Files Etsy shop for those who want to make their own.

Thank you for supporting this part of our journey—it’s meant the world.

A beautiful mess ✨

I’m very lucky to be able to create things my kids love, and hope that other people (kids and adults) also love the products we create.

I’m a sucker for sentimental things, and with valentines around the corner I wanted flowers that can last forever. My kids can paint these, and there’s a magnet on the back so I can see them every day on the fridge!

I will have 2 different designs to choose from at my first market of the year feb 8th!
