Hi! This post is just to say that I'm still active ...just being a "busy little bee" behind the scenes 😉

Sometimes content takes up too much time and when you're a one woman show, it becomes a low priority haha.

Celebration the next group of Social Workers Bow Valley College

It's been an honour to supervise some of them and to see their capstone projects.

Congrats Grads👏🎉

7 years ago, I opened the door to this practice not entirely sure what it would become.

This season is carrying a lot of meaning for me. I've completed my Masters of Social Work, joined the Social Work Association of Social Workers, and I am now walking into my 8year year of private practice.

I don't take any of those things lightly.

Along with these milestones comes something that felt overdue, a brand refresh that more truly reflects what this practice has grown into.

Same values. Same commitments to you.

Just a clearer, more intentional expression of what we've been building together all along.

To every person who has sat across from me, shared their story, and has included me in their journey of healing & growth... thank you.

You are all woven into all of this.

My bittersweet time of working with practicum students is when we come to the end.

Students are invited to facilitate an activity to teach me something, as our way of symbolically acknowledging the growth and learning they experienced throughout the practicum.

I love seeing what they decide to-do, while equally sad to see the time working together to an end.

As this season with Hannah comes to an end she facilitated a fun craft in making magnets that highlighted our core values 🩶🧭

It's official! I now have a Masters of Social Work!

Starting this practice I never thought about getting a MSW, but the more I supported people I kept seeing how much of a two-tiered mental health system we have and that we need a change in policies.

Getting a MSW will help me on that journey of transformation.

I'm excited to share this with you and celebrate this moment🩶

I have grown and learned so much these past 3 years and I am looking forward to what my future holds.

Our social work practicum student, Hannah, is conducting some research!

If you have a daughter between the age of 12-15,.Hannah would like to be able to interview you regarding parenting & self-esteem.
