Weekend Rugby Recap! 🏉🚨

It was another successful Saturday for the Cru, as our Senior Women’s side defeated Fergus Highland by a score of 36-10 on the road to claim their first win of the 2026 NRU Premiership campaign!

Meanwhile on the home front, our Senior Men’s 3rd XV kicked off Beach Day with a 28-17 triumph over Balmy Beach, before our Senior Men’s 1st XV capped off the day with an impressive 45-5 performance!

Our Senior Men’s 2nd XV dropped their first fixture of the season, finding themselves on the wrong end of a hard-fought, 12-7 contest.

More home fixtures again this weekend, as all three of our Senior Men’s sides host the Brantford Harlequins at Crusaders Park, while our Senior Women travel to Sarnia for a battle with the Saints!

You won’t want to miss a single thing this week at Cru! 🖤💛

Wednesday kicks off with a World Cup watch party, as England face Croatia, before our U18 Girls and Boys take their respective campaigns on the road against Fergus Highland and Barrie RFC!

Then, Thursday, come down to the clubhouse as Canada face Qatar at 6:00 PM! It may not be our sport, but it is our country, so come down, bring your fellow fans, and cheer on our boys in red! Free entry, bar open, and all welcome!

Saturday is BEACH DAY at the club! While our Senior Women continue their NRU Premiership campaign away at Fergus Highland, the club comes alive at home as we host Balmy Beach across five fixtures, from our U16 Boys to our Senior Men! The day rounds out with the 2026 Crusaders Summer Ball, so no better way to make a day of it!

To close out the week on Father’s Day, everyone from our U8s to U14s head to Brantford, while our U18 Boys host Welsh touring side Coleg Y Cymoedd with a late afternoon kickoff to be confirmed!

It’s safe to say Alumni Day was a huge success at Crusaders Park! Our Men’s 2nd XV improved to a perfect 5-0 on the season with a commanding 100-0 shutout over London St. George’s! Our Men’s 1st XV followed suit, with an emphatic performance of their own, resulting in a 76-3 triumph over London!

Meanwhile, our Senior Women fought to the final whistle, earning themselves a 50-50 tie with the Iroquois Roots!

Let’s keep it going this weekend, as our Women’s side hits the road to Fergus, and all three of our Men’s sides host Balmy Beach at Crusaders Park!

From first kick to final whistle, you’re not going to want to miss this one! 🖤💛

Alumni Day is back at Crusaders Park THIS Saturday, June 13th! Six games, old faces, cold drinks, and a full day of rugby! Basically, the kind of proper summer Saturday that shouldn’t need much convincing!

If you’ve ever worn the jersey, it’s time to come home! If you didn’t, come anyway; free entry and all are welcome!

It’s a BIG week ahead at Crusaders Park! 🤩

Our U18 Boys and Girls kick things off tonight with their season openers against Barrie RFC and the Mississauga Blues!

Then the 2026 FIFA World Cup hits the clubhouse, with watch parties on for South Africa on Thursday and Canada on Friday! The entry is free, the bar is open, and you won’t find a better place to watch our country play!

Saturday is Alumni Day! We’re talking rugby from the early hours straight to the evening, with our U16s Boys and Girls kicking things off, followed by our Senior Women’s home opener against the Iroquois Roots, and our Senior Men’s sides hosting London St. George’s! Our Men’s 3rd XV is also in the process of sorting a fixture because who doesn’t love more rugby! Add a beer garden, food truck, and the whole Cru-mmunity, and honestly, where else is there to be on a Saturday in Oakville?!

Sunday we wrap it all up with our U14s and U12s in action!

Round 3 Recap! 🏉🚨

All three of our Senior Men’s sides were in action on the road in Round 3, taking on Waterloo County! Our 2nd and 1st XV came away with huge victories, winning 55-5 and 36-26, respectively!

Our 3rd XV narrowly fell in a hard-fought contest against the top of the table, still earning themselves a bonus point in the process.

The road trip continues this weekend as all three teams head to Sunnybrook Park to take on the Toronto Scottish! Let’s keep the good times rolling!
