β One of the most common mistakes with negative decimals is thinking that the number with the larger digits is always greater.
When both numbers are negative, the number closer to 0 is actually larger. π
So even though 75 is bigger than 50, -0.75 is less than -0.50 because it's farther from 0 on the number line.
Understanding negative numbers can save you from easy mistakes! π‘β¨
Fractions donβt have to be confusing! β¨
A little practice every day can make adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions much easier. πβ
