Every single second of this wedding was perfection. captured it so effortlessly, and I can’t wait to share more of the beauty of this day.

This time of year is always my favourite, because it means receiving galleries for all of the beautiful events we had the pleasure of being apart of. This beauty, photographed by in May, was a wedding we fought so hard for throughout the pandemic. So many tough conversations, so many postponements, but we got there, and it was just perfect. 🤍

After my last experience with .ca I just had to get back there for a second visit. Cue the confetti! Have some fun with your ceremony photos and leave a little pack of confetti on the inner aisle guest chairs for them to toss during your recessional. It will make for the most gorgeous photos! My favourite confetti is - it’s biodegradable!

Beach wedding goals ✨
After 3 years of planning, and replanning, and replanning again - Hayley and Joe finally tied the knot in front of their family and friends on Crystal Beach this weekend. A property that multiple generations have been married on.
We may have been thrown curveballs throughout, but these two stood united, strong and determined, and here we are, finally being able to say it happened - on an incredible sunshine filled weekend, that allowed us to have the outdoor wedding we dreamed about for so long.

The most perfect spot to say “I do”.

Trendy weddings are beautiful and all, but I’m a timeless girl at heart. Keeping your details well thought out, simple, and classic, will ensure they age like a good old bottle of fine wine 👌🏻

This image here - looks pretty perfect, right? Absolutely. I could show you an album of beautiful pictures from this wedding. The day was perfection. But behind the scenes? This wedding was supposed to be in an entirely different venue 12 hours prior to set up. But things changed. Mother Nature left us to find a new space, the night before the wedding.

Was it challenging? Yes! Was it nerve wracking? Yes! But you know what it wasn’t? Impossible. It’s not impossible when you have the best team in the biz as your vendors for the date. Who all take it in stride, make the changes and get to work making it just as good - in my opinion, better - than it was originally supposed to be!

My biggest advice. Hire a planner. Hire a damn good team of vendors who can change direction in a second, without missing a beat. And then? Trust them.

I can’t thank J+J enough for their trust in me, and all those involved, and for having more grace than I could have imagined.
We made it happen, and we absolutely nailed it.
