C.PP.S. Mission Projects is a registered non-profit charity, founded by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Atlantic Province. Not only does C.PP.S.
Mission Projects is a registered non-profit charity. Founded by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Atlantic Province, we serve to support and enable communities at home and abroad. Mission Projects raise funding for aide efforts but we also offer international service experience to youth and adult volunteers. Established in 1976, we have worked primarily in central Tanzania alongside its comm
unities. Together, we have drilled nearly 600 wells, accessing clean water for several hundred thousands of people in the Dodoma Region. These wells and access to clean water create employment opportunities such as: the daily operation and maintenance of the wells; agricultural work, enabling growth and harvest of crops to eat or sell; further options and education for women and girls - allowing moms to be moms and young girls to be kids. An academic education is also provided for children near the community of Miyuji, Tanzania. In 2007, C.PP.S. Mission Projects opened St. Gaspar Primary School for the education of approximately 900 eager little people. We have since opened Venerable John Merlini High School with 110 students attending Year One, in January 2015. Access to this education gives these children, just as ours, the knowledge to modify living conditions for themselves and future generations.
