Ruben and Michael took on the Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer this past weekend. Huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported them along the way, together they raised over $5,000!!
The ride itself helped raise an incredible $23.3 million for cancer research. Grateful to be part of something that big, with such an important cause behind it.
What an experience. What a weekend.
Special thank you to the following people, we couldn’t have done it without you 🔥

Speed isn’t just sprinting.
To become a faster athlete, you need to develop all 6 pillars of athletic speed:
✔️ Running Mechanics
✔️ Acceleration & Deceleration
✔️ Top Speed
✔️ Change of Direction
✔️ Multi-Directional Movement
✔️ Sport-Specific Performance
That’s why we test first. Because every athlete has different strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve.
Want to find out what’s holding your speed back? Send us a message to book your athletic performance assessment.
The lap pad on a lat pulldown isn’t cheating.
It’s there to hold you in position so you can train your lats effectively, not fight to stay in the seat.
The bigger lesson?
Not everything you see on Instagram is good training advice. Be selective about who you listen to.
See a training video online and not sure if it’s legit? Send it to us. We’ll break it down and give you the real answer.
Want to put on muscle this summer without losing your speed?🔥
Stop training like a body builder.
Too many athletes spend their off-season chasing size and strength while neglecting speed, explosiveness, and athletic movement.
Our athletes do all of it.
They get stronger, faster, more explosive, and more prepared for their sport.
Because the goal isn’t just gaining weight.
It’s becoming a better athlete
Most athletes see summer as a break.
The best athletes see it as an opportunity.
Three months of consistent training can completely change next season.
Don’t wait and wish you started sooner.

Two years ago, Cameron walked into The Exercise Lab struggling to walk and considering surgery.
Last weekend she raced her first HYROX and finished 2nd in her age group and 8th overall.
Results are great, but this is about so much more than that. It’s about showing up every day, trusting the process, and refusing to let setbacks write the ending.
Proud is an understatement. Cameron, this is only the beginning 💪
Most athletes taking creatine aren’t actually doing it wrong because of the supplement… they’re doing it wrong because the basics aren’t there.
Creatine is one of the most researched supplements out there and can help with power, strength, performance, recovery, and even cognitive function. But it isn’t magic.
You still need to:
✔️ Train consistently
✔️ Eat enough
✔️ Hydrate properly
For most athletes:
• 5g per day
• Drink enough water (especially if training hard)
• Stay consistent
Creatine doesn’t replace the work. It helps you get more out of the work you’re already putting in.

Just a quick reminder that we’re getting close to our goal of raising $5,000 for prostate & genitourinary cancer research through the Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer 🚴♂️❤️
If you haven’t donated yet, we would really appreciate the support. Any amount helps.
And if donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this means just as much!

Draft year preparation starts now🔥
This is why we test our athletes at the beginning AND end of the off-season.
Speed. Power. Conditioning. Change of direction. Strength.
We measure where they are in May, track the work they put in all summer, then re-test in August to make sure they’re actually improving in the areas that matter most on the ice.
For hockey players, every second, every stride, every shift matters.

In an industry where anyone can become “certified” overnight, knowledge matters more than ever.
Programming matters.
Communication matters.
Experience matters.
But if you don’t understand anatomy, you’re guessing.
The best trainers aren’t just good at coaching hard workouts. They understand the body well enough to know why something works, when it works, and who it works for.
Your clients deserve more than random exercises and copied programs from Instagram.
They deserve a coach who understands the human body well enough to train it with purpose.
Know your anatomy.
That’s what separates good trainers from great ones.
