When Scott Kravet of KRAVET Fabrics sends out an invite to view the latest and greatest textile intros for 2024 those of us that were lucky enough to be invited... show up!
What an event!
A dozen designers from around the province (two of us from Vancouver Island) spent the afternoon and evening with Scott Kravet and Patricia (from the Kravet Vancouver showroom) learning about the history, art and manufacturing of textiles from around the world.
Pieces that have been archived for hundreds of years that are being reimagined, recolored for today's lucky homeowners!
Both Scott and Patricia are a wealth of information! All of us that were invited felt extremely privileged to attend this event as well as a lovely dinner afterwards.

Apparently it's a good day to find a cozy corner and take a nap!
