A gluten free/ dairy free carrot cake special order heading over to Vancouver for a girls birthday. I created a “cream cheese” icing last year that seals the deal when it comes to icings on a carrot cake, yeah you know it’s not cream cheese, but damn it’s close.

With dark chocolate ganache, chopped bananas, pastry cream and lightly sweetened whipped cream. Yes they are GF and yes they are delicious.

Made some more whoopie pies this weekend. My husband was drooling over my post about them up in Nunavut, so while he’s home I thought I’d make another batch.

It’s been a quiet morning in the kitchen. Slowly getting everything ready. The blueberry galettes are magnificent today ❤️
