Hello Nanaimo!!
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting in the management of staff.
This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure smooth flow.
Training new employees.
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Monitor sales performance and assist in developing strategies to meet market demands.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.
Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
Conduct regular staff meetings to promote teamwork and share updates.
Support the Manager in administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or a supervisory role is mandatory. Minimum 1 year of experience required in the restaurant industry.
Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in math for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication.
Experience in recruiting and interviewing candidates is desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Holidays as required by the business needs.
