FV Atlas has upgraded to the new 801 Lithium sensors. Some great feedback here..

"Since we installed Notus Trawlmaster many years ago it has proved to be invaluable for twin rig (3 wire setup). Now we have the new hybrid sensors and we are extremely happy with their performance and reliability. Trawlmaster takes all the uncertainty away for fine tuning the gear especially when it comes to wingend and door spread."

Notus at Danfish releasing the new 801 Lithium Sensor line with 3x the battery life.

10/02/2025

After three years of dedicated development, we’re proud to launch the new 801 Series Sensors—a complete redesign of our proven 701 Series.

LITHIUM POWER, 3X LONGER LIFE
The switch from NiMH to lithium battery technology delivers three times the battery life of our previous model. That means true full-trip capability for most vessels, while eliminating wasted time changing batteries at sea.

SIMPLIFIED DOOR SETUP
The 801 Series eliminates the need for an extra sensor in the port door or clump. Now, all you need is one sensor in the starboard door and one in the port door. These two sensors still provide full data—door spread, trawl wire length, door angle, and door depth/height—with no compromise on accuracy.

We will be exhibiting this new kit at Danfish (Denmark), Pacific Marine Expo (USA) and the Atlantic Fish Show (Canada).
