NoMoveMove

From the very beginning, NoMoveMove has been a collaboration with artist Björn Feldmann.
Björn is a Montreal-based visual artist, animator, illustrator, board game inventor and so much more! It's safe to say, Björn has single-handedly created the NoMoveMove visual universe. And it all started with this painting. When I first saw this pixel art painting in 2023, I got goosebumps and knew right away it had to be the logo for NoMoveMove. Björn graciously accepted and after many beer-fuelled negotiations, finally agreed to sell me the painting. That's right, I paid real money, for real art created by a real person ... what a concept!
The painting now hangs with immense pride in my home and when I look at it, I'm reminded of a certain late night tv test pattern, but also of the view from the lookout on Mount Royal towards downtown Montreal.

What a night for NoMoveMove at P’tit Ours!!! Our first EP Rusty blasted off the launchpad and took a one-way trip to Mars. Thanks to Jay, Sacha, Roman and Björn for joining this musical adventure and Ivan Pisino for kicking the evening off, Torino style. And most of all, thanks to our fans for their energy and support.
