A system diagnostic just using the manufacturer's tools. Unfortunately, we quickly discovered a hard disk failure.

A client purchased a new larger capacity SSD hard disk and asked us to do the upgrade. They just wanted the disk to be cloned, since they were not having any issues. There are free tools that you can use to accomplish this task. here is an example.

Crazy error messages? Sometimes it is best to just uninstall and reinstall the problematic software.

Needed to find the version of Microsoft Office for a client who had a few computers but didn't know which version they installed on this computer. Windows was not working properly, so I had to revert to good old DOS commands. Old school!

Before you throw out that old desktop or laptop, consider upgrading its storage. If your computer uses the older standard hard drive it’s probably time to upgrade it. SSDs are getting faster every years and replacing the storage in your old computer with a new SSD won’t cost you too much, it won’t take that long to fit, and it will make a huge difference to the speed of your computing experience.
