🚆 Transpacific Express has turned 5, and we’ve been rethinking how we tell our story. SWIPE to see how we are remixing the narrative 🎤🪩🗯️

When we started...we were just big nerds who thought mixing research & entertainment
was the most natural thing ever.

We believe that to build the future... you gotta dig through the past like a sampling producer, remixing culture with found ingredients.

But after 5 years in Montréal’s music scene,
we realized… most people were not engaging with our parties like that.

✍️ Letting the art speak for itself isn’t enough. It’s time for us to create content that show our Transpacific take on global Asian culture.

🚅 It’s been 6 months since we joined ALLIANCE, the 2025 mentorship program for artist at montreal, arts interculturel (MAI, ). Swipe for a glimpse into TE’s next chapter.

What are we developing with MAI, and why?

Let us take you back to our philosophy. TE was never “just” about city pop and Asian-themed parties. WE’VE ALWAYS HAD A BIGGER VISION!

“Trans-pacific” has always meant seeing East Asian culture with a global eye.

HOW?
Paying attention to where East Asian and Black Atlantic cultures meld, mix, and create something new.

With support from MAI, we’ve been building the Transpacific MC™ (Main Character), a 3D mocapped virtual content influencer.

She will help bring the TE vision to life through deep dives, content, and performances
that explore the ties between East Asian and Black Atlantic culture.
