What a sad day it is!
"The Game" really is one of the best books not just about hockey, but life as a sports athlete in general.
You could sense how cerebral and observant Dryden was throughout that book, paired with his obvious intellect and ability to translate that into a quality book. It felt more like a really great author trying his best to impersonate being a professional hockey goalie. Rather than a professional hockey goalie, trying his best to impersonate being a professional author.
He always showed a clear, worldly vision that went way beyond what the average person cares to think about. His own personal life choices reflected this, and is why he's such a respected person.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Dryden. You lived a full-life many would be envious of.

Today, the world lost a voice that changed live, not just through music, but through presence, through vision, through power. Douglas McCarthy was more than an artist. He was a force. To me, he was an inspiration. A light that burned through the fog when everything felt uncertain.
Through his work with Nitzer Ebb he screamed truth into a world full of silence. He danced with rage, with love, with raw humanity. He helped us feel alive.
Douglas, your voice was the pulse of rebellion and the anthem of resilience. You didn't just make music, you made meaning. And for that, I love you. I always will.
To all his family, and to every soul he's touched may we carry forward his energy, his art, and the defiant spirit he gifted us. We are his echo now.
Rest in power, Douglas.
You were, and always will be, my greatest inspiration.

UNDERTEK est très fier de vous présenter une icône du Progressive House des année 2000 et j'ai nommé Saeed Younan, membre du très influant duo Saeed & Palash. Ce duo a carrément dirigé le mouvement durant quelques années en jouant dans les plus grands clubs tel que: Club Space (Ibiza), Cream (Ibiza), Pacha (Argentine, Israel, Espagne) etc.
Précurseurs des sons distinctifs à ce style de musique, ils ont marqués le temps avec des énormes succès comme: Watching you, Champion, Afterdark, Dooms Day, Psychopath et plusieurs autres.
Passé maitres dans l'art du remixing, ils ont incorporé leurs couleurs sur des bombes comme: Voices, Deep, The Baggio Track, The Underground, Rise in et j'en passe.
Le duo avait même parti leur propre Label, Addictive Records, qui fut un incubateur a succès qui a permis de produire de nouveaux sons pour le remettre entre les mains de top Dj comme Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Sasha et plusieurs autres. Ce qui leur a permis de devenir un label influant dès leur début.
