Reminder that the Ancestral Skills Program begins this week in Lethbridge AB, and is being held from 4:00-6:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Open to all Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfoot)
Join our free in-person Ancestral Skills Program designed to connect youth while learning the Blackfoot language through various projects rooted in the Siksikaitsitapi way of life.

Some projects to occur during this program (not limited to);
- Traditional doll Making
- Parfleche Bags
- Moccasin Making
- Traditional Back rest

Program duration;
April 14th 2025 - June 23, 2025
2 sessions per week.

It’s was such a blessing to be on the coast with such a great group of youth , we had an awesome time in the community of Ahousaht First Nation ( Vancouver island ) we were spoiled with culture, food & good vibes all around
