A little update on the stuff I was planning on auctioning off: Big Ed's son claimed the big ed burger sign... and guess who the Moe's mosaic went to? None other than the grandson of Moe himself!!!!!!

I am so glad that it went to somebody threaded into the history of our diner. I don't think there could have been a more fitting scenario. 😌

Thanks to everyone who stopped by over the past two weeks to bid us farewell. We will and already do miss you terribly.

I'd like to specifically thank all of the people who visited us from long distance locations. Our former employees came all the way from London, Ontario, one of our favourite customers came all the way from Hamilton (this morning!) and I read in the guestbook that some people came from Ottawa, etc. So thank you for loving us enough to go out of your way to say goodbye.

I have only been present for 22 years of Moes' glory, but I know from stories recounted that all of the years preceding my own were even more spectacular than the ones I was lucky enough to experience.

Our memory will live on forever, as you have all reminded us lately.
