Times won't be hard for this dreamer. Wrapping up our cast intros is Cat Preston as Amélie Poulain!
Jumping into her second production with Penumbra Theatre, Cat Preston is a META-nominated actress, singer, producer and theatre marketing specialist. Originally from Northallerton, England, she was in her first stage production at the age of 3 and never looked back. Recent credits include Rizzo (Grease), Dr. Scott, Eddie & Magenta (The Rocky Horror Show), Jenna Rollan (Be More Chill), and Rosie (Mamma Mia!).

Billy is so excited to be working on this wonderful show with everyone at Penumbra Theatre. Some of his favourite roles he has played have been Baker in Into The Woods (Starcatcher), Ernst in Spring Awakening (Contact)The Beggar in Decomposed Theatre (JAC Theatre).

Cradling his favourite gnome is Jonathan D'amour as Raphaël Poulain/Bretodeau!
Jonathan has been involved in theatre since he was 10 years old by learning the ropes at Nos
Voix Nos Visages, a small theatre school in Longueuil where he would study for the better
part of 12 years. In 2008, he joined the show Avalanche (Productions Blizz-Art), with which he
performed for 15 years. He has been a part of many productions, including Star Wars La
Parodie Musicale (Productions L’Épopée), Guys And Dolls (Lakeshore Players), La Belle et la
Bête (Troupe du Phénix) and has also performed in many cabarets with Full Circle
Productions and Q***r Magique as a bilingual performer. He is very excited to be part of his
very first Penumbra production with Amélie.

With her favourite roll of stamps is Cassie Muise as Amandine/Philomène!
Cassie is an experienced actor and creator with two decades worth of credits, and her MA in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is a proud co-creator of two original musicals, God Catcher and How Not To Kill A Plant. She loves living in Montréal with her partner Blair and their dogs, Kelso and Fiyero.

Ranting into his tape recorder is Marc Ducusin as Joseph!
Originally from Winnipeg, Marc Ducusin (he/him) has performed with such Montreal companies as the Côte Saint-Luc Dramatic Society, Full Circle Productions, In the Wings Promotions, Q***r Magique, Kaleidoscope Theatre, Brave New Productions, and Acts to Grind. Recent roles include Henry in Potion Ethics (Home Theatre) and Warren in Would Virginia Woolf Contemplate Su***de if She Were Filipino? (Voices of Asia International). A full ACTRA member, he is represented by Bellini Talent for film, television, and voice work. He is delighted to make his Penumbra Theatre debut with Amélie and will next appear in Contact Theatre's Cabaret.
