Some new patterns and some old patterns, I’ve just been quietly carving away in my little garage studio 😊 Trying to get steadily back at it.

Cegep started back yesterday, so it feels like this really signals a return to routine! Starting slow with tackling the clay recycling that accumulated in the pre December rush. While is not exactly creative, it is definitely an important part of the creative cycle, and it feels pretty good to get my hands in clay again. The messy and simple physical work of wedging feels good and very grounding.

A last little side project, special commission requested at the end of November.

I always like to do a mock table set up before sales… It felt cozier to set it up on the family room floor tonight than an actual table ✨

Find me tomorrow at at St. Raymond’s Community Center! 5600 Upper Lachine Road, 10 am - 5 pm

Hope to see you there! ♥️

My final market before some holiday “rest” will be with ! Thursday evening, December 18, from 5pm-8pm ✨

This market is with other studio members in this wonderful, caring space created by the team at

In addition to the maker sale, there will be a fundraiser bake sale for , a mutual aid initiative that I am honoured to take part in. Every week, Care Wagons distributes freshly made sandwiches, clothing, toiletries and other essentials. As often as I can, I make a big batch of chili as well. I’ll be bringing a batch of sourdough bread for the bake sale, and there will be lots of other treats 🧁 🍪 🍰 All proceeds to keep Care Wagons going for our neighbours in need ♥️

I finally took the time to take and post photos of some of the new pieces that I have been working on this fall!

It always feels like such a challenge to remember to take photos, to pull myself away from the wheel and the careful, quiet work that I love so much… But not all the days can look like this, right? Because the truth is, the other thing that I really do love so much, is seeing you all and showing you my work in person, and not only on the glowing little screen that we all have a love-hate relationship with! When we get to connect, when you can hold these handmade pieces in your own hands, that is when the work comes to life 💕

I’ll be out and about in December - I hope to see many of you!

✨ This weekend, December 6 & 7 with at the Centre Georges Vanier. I’ll be tabling with 18 other local potters all weekend, from 10-5 on both days

✨ December 13 with at the St.Raymond Community Centre from 10am - 5 pm. This event will feature over 40 different vendors, with lots of fun activities. This wonderful community event is a fundraiser for the Montreal Children’s Hospital & Hospital Ste.Justine, as well as a food drive for the NDG Community

✨ December 18th, from 5-8pm - an evening Winter Market with at the studio in the Complex Canal Lachine. This will be my last one before the holiday break, and this one is particularly near to my heart, as it is also a fundraiser for the mutual aid initiative that I take part in ❤

I never photographed this donut vase before, but she’s really grown on me as she lived quietly on my studio shelves… I’m looking forward to the quieter new year to revisit making some of these challenging forms again. And peonies, always peonies 💕
