ππ What a wonderful 2026 Maple Season we have had!! ππ
To everyone who joined us in this annual celebration of spring - thank you for being part of our story!
To our 'Team Trites' members: thank you for the long days, cold mornings, and weekends spent in snow, rain, and chilly weather. Your hard work keeps this family tradition alive, and we are so grateful for each of you.
To every family and friend who walked the trails, shared pancakes, and bundled up to join us - thank you. You helped fill the woods with laughter, sticky fingers from taffy, and memories that will last for years to come.
Maple season is about more than syrup - itβs about tradition, time together, and welcoming spring. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the woods again for the 2027 Maple Season. ππππ

ππ Maple Ridge Trail Report ππ
Saturday 11th April, 2026
The trail on Friday was perfect, firm ground which was beginning to dry completely in places. Weather for Saturday does indicate some light rain which may make for a little mud but should remain relatively firm and easy for walking. Most strollers and wagons should be manageable on the trail.

Our LAST WEEKEND of the season is here!
These warm days and cold nights bring the very best of the maple season, when the sap runs strong just before the first leaves appear and spring fully settles in. This is a beautiful time to experience the woods and see the sugar bush at its finest.
With shaded pockets of snow we still have what we need in the woods for Maple Taffy on the snow, and a way to keep the tradition going even if the last patch of snow melts. π
Join us for our final πAll you can eat Maple Taffy on the snow (all weekend), Pancake Breakfasts (Saturday 11th) and Tours (Sunday 12th).
Walk the trails, enjoy a warm stack of pancakes, and experience a simple spring day together in the forest. π²π₯. Hope to see you in the woods π!

Conditions froze again overnight, as the day wears on this should lead to slushy conditions with some icy patches. Warm waterproof boots are recommended. Large wheeled strollers would be least difficult on the trail.
