MLM Clicks

So my Christmas Cactus bloomed this week so took the opportunity to practice with my Canon 100mm lens. I think I'm gonna like this lens for close-ups!

Never know what colors are going to be there! And tried a little abstract one at the end!
Was a little cooler tonight than the other nights, but still a beautiful place!

GOLDEN HOUR
In photography, the “Golden Hour” is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky. The golden hour is also sometimes called the "magic hour".

BLUE HOUR
The “Blue Hour” is the period of twilight when the Sun is at a significant depth below the horizon. During this time, the remaining sunlight takes on a mostly blue shade. This shade differs from the colour of the sky on a clear day.

I was lucky tonight to catch a little bit of both!

The flowers were so pretty this summer!

This has to be the cutest little 9 year old “gentleman” I have ever seen!
I’m sure he will be surrounded by lots of girls when the time comes to date!!!

Well this happened last Saturday! These 2 great people (friends) tied the knot! I couldn’t have been more privileged to have been asked to capture their special day!

Congrats Darlene and Greg!!! Wishing you a long happy life together!

Haven’t been out much with the camera this summer, but just had to make sure to get to the Irving Park at least one more time before the blooms are all gone!
