It’s a beautiful morning for outside play!

The Treesong Preschoolers went on a neighbourhood clean-up walk today! What actions will you take?

On Saturday morning Treesong families met at the local animal shelter to give them our donation of the $1000.00 we raised through our pasta dinner, silent auction and ‘merch’ sales featuring our original artwork.

“It was truly our pleasure to welcome your group! We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour and the hands-on time with the animals.

Thank you again for the $1,000 raised through your fundraising initiatives. These funds will go to supporting our shelter operations and ensuring the animals receive the care they need.”

Meeting the animals was the highlight! We saw dogs, cats, guinea pigs and even a rabbit. What a rewarding experience!

The trees are still bare at Treesong but spring is in the air and the outdoor environment is wet, but lots of fun and full of natural play potential!

Sunshine and rainbows in the art studio today! Spring is in the air…

Last night we turned our house into an Italian restaurant, hosting 11 families for a full pasta meal with all proceeds going to the SPCA. The after schoolers took on the responsibility of making the marinara sauce and baking cookies for dessert. They set tables, showed families to their seats, served the food, poured lemonade, cleaned the tables and set them up again for the next sitting. We are so proud of them!

Christmas is fast approaching and our preschool Christmas trees are complete! Happy Holidays!

We have just finished making paper mache hot air balloons as part of our learning about transportation. They are so bright and cheerful!
