Ms Puff is still waiting for a forever home.

Mrs. Puff is a mixed breed Lab puppy and she is every bit the lovable, chaotic, adorable puppy you could hope for. She and her siblings — Bob, Sandy, Pearl, and Patrick — made the journey from Manitoba this past Wednesday night, arriving safely despite some serious wind delays affecting their flight. Their beautiful mama has since been welcomed by a rescue in Montreal, while the puppies are settling into loving foster homes as they begin the search for their forever families.

Mrs. Puff is your classic puppy — curious, playful, cuddly, and always finding ways to make people smile. Being so little, her days are made up of short bursts of energy followed by long, adorable naps. One minute she’s bouncing around exploring the world, and the next she’s completely asleep wherever she happens to land.

She’s still very young and learning all the important puppy basics, so her future family should be ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with raising a puppy. With patience, love, and continued training, Mrs. Puff is going to grow into a wonderful companion.

Meet and Greets will be held in the Cambridge, Ontario region. Her spay will be covered by the rescue at our preferred vet at approximately 6 months of age. Adoption fee is $900.

What life is all about when you’re not on a 2ft tether for a year of your life in Nunavut.

Imagine what the weather is like there. Plus some acts of cruelty from the hands of humans.

We are hoping a foster home in Hamilton. Burlington, Mississauga or Etobicoke would be available to foster Roy. If you can please share please do so. If we can’t find a foster we can’t help Roy.

Meet Roy ❤️🇨🇦🐾
Roy is an approximately 1.5-year-old Husky/Terrier mix with a playful spirit and an enormous heart. He loves people and is happiest when he's receiving attention, belly rubs, back scratches, or leaning in for a cuddle. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he has a wonderful way of making everyone around him smile.
Roy's early life was not an easy one. He spent much of his time living outdoors with limited stability and experienced situations that no dog should have to endure. Despite those challenges, Roy has remained incredibly affectionate, resilient, and eager to connect with people.
When local advocates learned that Roy was at risk, they worked tirelessly to ensure he had a second chance. Thanks to their dedication and the support of the Arviat Humane Society, Roy is now safe and preparing for the next chapter of his journey.
Those who know Roy describe him as friendly, loyal, and full of personality. He has enjoyed socializing and playing with other dogs and has shown a gentle, affectionate nature with the people he trusts. As with any rescue dog, Roy will benefit from patience, structure, and positive reinforcement as he settles into a new home and learns what it means to be part of a family.
Because of his past experiences, Roy would do best with respectful, dog-savvy older children who understand canine boundaries and gentle interactions. He has not yet been tested with cats.
What stands out most about Roy isn't the hardship he's experienced—it's the remarkable way he's moved forward from it. Through everything, he has remained loving, hopeful, and ready to embrace the future.
Now safe in rescue, Roy is looking for the forever family he's always deserved. If you're searching for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love, Roy may be your perfect match.

We couldn’t save the eye but we did save the dog. Now we need to find that perfect family who has been waiting for the perfect dog to complete their home.
