Sexual Violence Prevention Month creates space for important conversations about consent, exploitation, prevention, and support for survivors.

When awareness campaigns fade, the realities of sexual violence and exploitation remain.

Real prevention happens during the other 11 months of the year in homes, classrooms, workplaces, faith communities, sports teams, and everyday conversations.

Awareness starts the conversation. Action is what creates change.

Defend Dignity honours the quiet, everyday care that shapes how children learn, grow, and stay safe in the world.

From early childhood to young adulthood, guidance, protection, and understanding play a vital role in building confidence, awareness, and resilience. Across girlhood, these moments remind us of the importance of starting early with care, education, and support.

We recognize and appreciate every motherly figure and caregiver who shows up with patience, love, and commitment at every stage.
