Reins for Rover

Just a few things from the last couple weeks.

So, yesterday I made a basket, out of leather.
I love it! It’s recycled, shows the character in the old material that would have been scrapped otherwise, and it’s useful!
This thing scratches so many itches in my brain!
I need to make more!

Just off the bench!
Based on a sewing pattern I found at : https://ororosapatterns.com/products/willow-woven-tote-pdf-pattern
This drop in lining is what I have been looking for in a bag pattern, with a slip and zip pocket in each side, and a zip close top.
Then there is the peek through to the fabric on the woven sides, I just love it!
100 % made using recycled materials, aside from the thread. Saddle panels, reins, and Latigo for the outside, upcycled fabric scraps and zippers in the lining.
I have no idea what to sell this one for, I spent a ton of time re-engineering the pattern so that It could be assembled differently using the heavier materials, and hand stitching everything.
But I love it, and made it through the challenge I volunteered for!
The next one won’t take a month to make, there should be less adjustments.
