We’re growing at SecurU, and we’re looking for an experienced 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 who can help keep our financial operations running accurately, efficiently and ready to scale.

Our business combines recurring revenue, project-based installations, and field service. That makes the accounting interesting, and it means we need someone who understands how all the pieces fit together.

You’ll manage the complete accounting cycle, from everyday AP, AR, billing and payroll through to reconciliations, revenue tracking, month-end close and financial reporting.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• 3+ years using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
• Experience with recurring revenue, subscription or SaaS-style billing
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization

You’ll also help us improve financial processes, manage integrations with other business systems and support the financial side of future growth and acquisitions.

This is an in-office position in Puslinch, Ontario, working closely with the President and the rest of our team.

And as SecurU grows, there’s room for this position to grow too, including the opportunity to develop into a senior finance leadership role.

SecurU is hiring a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 to join our team in Puslinch, Ontario.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle accounting role for someone who is comfortable managing the details while also seeing the bigger financial picture.

You’ll take ownership of:
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Customer billing and collections
• Recurring revenue accounts
• Payroll and remittances
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Month-end close
• Journal entries, accruals and prepayments
• Deferred and recurring revenue tracking
• Monthly financial statements

One important requirement: You must have is 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop experience.

We’re also looking for someone with 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a full-cycle role, strong Excel skills and experience working with recurring revenue or subscription-based businesses.

This isn't a role where you'll be doing one small piece of the accounting process.

You'll have visibility across the business, work closely with leadership and have the opportunity to improve processes as the company continues to grow.
